The Board of County Commissioners voted 6-0 on Thursday, September 24th to deny the application for a 14 bed (plus an unlimited staff) group home at 6861 Donald Ross Rd.
It was a great victory for PBCE however it would have been virtually impossible without the help of the four professionals hired by the Association. From comments made by the applicants attorney, it appears they will continue to pursue the same 14 bed use at the group home at 15551 79th Terrace N. So, the effort is not over.
The bills from the September 24th hearing will exhaust the funds that have been collected to date to pay the professionals. So if you have not donated yet, please do so now.
