PBCE LANDOWNERS ASSOCIATION STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We are pleased to announce that the first step in our effort to defeat group homes expansion went very well. At the September 3rd hearing, the Zoning Commission unanimously DENIED both the variance requests and the application for the conditional use of the property at 6861 Donald Ross Rd. The professionals we hired clearly demonstrated their value at that meeting. It really could not have been done without them.
However, this is far from over. This Zoning Commission decision only represents a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. The entire presentation will need to be repeated for the County Commissioners on September 24th.
Hiring the best professionals for this job isn’t cheap and we still need a substantial amount of donations to pay for their ongoing work. If you refrained from donating in the past because you were skeptical of their value, hopefully their outstanding performance at the Zoning Commission hearing quelled any doubts you had. All you need to do is state that you are opposed to zoning application ZV CA-2018-01804 Hedge House. You do not need to elaborate any further.
We need every single landowner in Palm Beach Country Estates who is opposed to this use to express their opinion. Just state your name and address and that you are opposed. That is all that is needed.
